Nighttime lane closures for the Highway 41 Project in Mount Pleasant will begin Sunday, October 9th and continue for approximately three weeks to assess soil conditions.
Details:
- Intermittent closures will take place from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. along sections of Highway 41 between US 17 and the Wando River Bridge.
- Crews will close short segments of Highway 41 one at time. Crews will complete work on one segment and open it back to traffic before closing the next segment of roadway.
- Flaggers will direct traffic through the closed area.
- Drivers should slow down and use caution when driving through construction areas.
- All work is weather dependent.
The Highway 41 Project aims to improve roadway capacity and ease traffic congestion along the corridor.
