The Charleson Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) is offering free service to the Charleston County Emergency Shelter located at 3841 Leeds Avenue in North Charleston via CARTA Route 103.
CARTA officials said they continue to monitor potential impacts as Tropical Storm Debby approaches the area. Service is running as scheduled as of 12 p.m. Monday, August 5, 2024, however, riders should anticipate delays and detours in flood-prone areas.
Riders are encouraged to take any trips to prepare for inclement weather and conduct all business as soon as possible due to possible service disruptions.
