The American College of the Building Arts (ACBA), a 501C3 non-profit, will host a free lecture featuring Joseph Kincannon on Sunday, October 27th at 6:30 pm. The event will take place at ACBA (649 Meeting Street).
Kincannon, who served his apprenticeship in the 1980's under English masons/carvers from York, Liverpool, and Wells Cathedral, will join Harrison Ogburne, a 4th year student, who recently served his externship at Worcester Cathedral. The two will share their experiences and reflect on cathedral building in the English tradition. Attendees will be taken on a journey through a typical English stone cutting workshop, and beyond, to the upper reaches of a medieval cathedral to see some of Harrison's handiwork.
