The American College of the Building Arts (ACBA) and Redux Contemporary Art Center (Redux) are announcing new classes and workshops as part of the Redux Education program but taking place at ACBA and taught by ACBA faculty.
“We are very excited to partner with Redux to offer creative educational opportunities to the wider community," said Christina Butler, Chair of General Education and Dean of Faculty at American College of Building Arts.
“This is an incredible opportunity for the public to experience completely different artistic mediums,” added Allan Bunch, Executive Director of Redux. “Because of the specialized equipment, most of us would not otherwise have access to this type of experience.
The first offering will be an introductory silver jewelry-making workshop taught by Kaminer Haislip, ACBA Adjunct Professor of Silversmithing and former Redux Studio Artist, on Saturday, October 26. More classes are being planned for early 2025. Information on classes can be found at ReduxStudios.org under the “Learn” tab.
