The event featured a ceremonial ribbon cutting and brought together local officials, nonprofit partners and community members to mark this significant milestone.
The newly relocated DRCC, now at 133 East 1st North Street, Suite 3, Summerville aims to enhance support and resources for residents of Dorchester County and the broader Tri-County area. With expanded space and facilities, the center will continue its mission to assist individuals and families in achieving financial stability and overall well-being through a variety of programs and services.

For over three decades, Trident United Way’s DRCC has been a vital resource for families in Dorchester County. The new facility features a collaborative space for various nonprofit organizations dedicated to addressing the community’s needs, including emergency assistance, educational resources and community support programs.
“This facility embodies our dedication to ensuring that every community member has access to vital resources,” said Trident United Way President and CEO DJ Hampton. “Together with our partner organizations, we are united on the ways to make a meaningful impact in the lives of hardworking individuals and families throughout Dorchester County.”
