Press Release
Wonder Works, Charleston's Number No. 1 toy store, is establishing itself as the LEGO destination in the Lowcountry. The store's Mt. Pleasant store, located in the Belle Hall Shopping Center, now has an entire room dedicated to offering the latest and greatest LEGO sets for all ages.
Founder Christine Osborne has been in the toy business for over 30 years and has seen the community's interest in LEGO grow.
“We host a Lego building contest at our store every year in the Spring,” said Osborne. “It started as a small event for kids that liked to build, but then we noticed that the love for Legos spans more than one generation. Now we have categories for all ages from toddlers to adults. When we held the contest early this year, we had over 100 entries!”
After years of carrying Lego sets, Wonder Works is excited to be classified as a Lego Gold Standard Store. That title means that they are able to order the newest sets including exclusive releases and expert level sets. The new Lego room has walls filled with sets including Duplo Bricks for the younger builders, classics like Lego City and Lego Friends, more advanced Lego Expert sets and even more.
