Last week, I attended the ribbon-cutting celebration for Showroom Kiawah, the first brick and mortar store from the e-commerce retailer which was founded by owner Erica Hanks in 2020.
Hanks is a former stylist to professional athletes and celebrities whose work has been featured in the New York Times, Daily Front Row and WWD.
Showroom Kiawah is the first multi-brand boutique on Kiawah, John's, and Seabrook islands offering women's apparel, accessories, and home items at what they call a “luxury contemporary price point.” Key brands featured in the store include Victoria Beckham, Citizens of Humanity, Rachel Comey, Sea New York, Acler, Stine Goya, Emerson Fry, La Double J, Marion Parke, The Great and many other international labels.
During the opening event, which included appearances from some of the women on Southern Charm, I was able to explore the store and see what they had to offer. The cozy store was welcoming, but still felt open enough to have plenty of privacy while you shopped. The staff – including Hanks herself – was warm and happy to help.

Southern Charm cast member Leva Bonaparte was on-site from the start to welcome guests to the store. Shortly after the festivities kicked off, fellow Charmers (past and present) Danni Baird, Naomie Olindo, and Madison Simon arrived. Each seemed to really adore Showroom and spent plenty of time looking through the shop’s offerings.
Showroom Kiawah can be found at 249 Gardeners Circle, P-101. It is open:
- Monday – Saturday: 10 am – 6 pm
- Sunday: 12 pm – 6 pm
It will be open at least through the end of August 2021.
