Downtown restaurant Vincent Chicco’s on Thursday announced they will host “Chef’s Mercy Monday” each week. Every Monday, Chef Dalton Fischer will prepare a special menu, that a spokesperson says will “showcase his creativity with a modern reflection on classic Italian cuisine.”
These menus are created from scratch each week, and aren’t revealed until doors open for dining on Monday nights. Ingredients will be local, seasonal, and Chef Fischer and his culinary team will be able to accommodate allergies and special requests.
There are three courses offered, though guests do not have to order all three courses. The regular menu is still available, however items may be limited. Reservations are encouraged, and can be made through OpenTable.com
“Once a week, my guests and I can share a powerful goal; to seek out the new and abandon the familiar, to create an experience to be nostalgic about tomorrow,” Chef Fischer said. “On Mondays, that motivation is as true in the kitchen as it is at the table.”
