In appreciation to all of the brave men and women who’ve served and protected the United States, Vicious Biscuit, the award-winning fast-casual breakfast concept and Southern-made originator of bold biscuit creations, announced it donated more than $7,600 in free entrees to veterans and active-duty at its eight (8) locations on Veterans Day. This equated to nearly 700 meals.
“This is the least we can do to celebrate and show our appreciation to those who’ve fought for our freedom and protected our beautiful country,” said Amanda Kahalehoe, COO for Vicious Biscuit. “We recognize the integrity, courage, and sacrifice of our veterans and active military embody, which are qualities we respect and deeply admire. They deserve more than this one day of recognition and celebration.”
For this very reason, Vicious Biscuit also offers a new 20% discount to both military and first responders everyday company-wide throughout the year. Recently, this discount has increased from 10% as the company’s additional way of saying thank you to those who’ve served and currently serve the United States of America.
Additionally, four of Vicious Biscuit’s nine restaurants are located near military bases: Mount Pleasant, SC (flagship); Columbia, SC; Wilmington, NC; and Neptune Beach, FL.
