SOL Southwest Kitchen & Tequila Bar is donating a portion of its proceeds from select menu items to help create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. SOL's limited-time Kitchen Karma specials are part of the "Summer of Wishes" menu benefiting Make-a-Wish South Carolina and are available from June 20th through August 15th.
Limited-time Kitchen Karma specials benefitting Make-a-Wish South Carolina include four seasonal summer cocktails, two seasonal mocktails, and three special food items. SOL's Mt. Pleasant and Summerville locations will donate $1 from every Kitchen Karma menu item sold to Make-a-Wish South Carolina.
Since the launch of Kitchen Karma in 2013, SOL has raised nearly $100,000 for local causes.
"It has been a way for us to give back to our community," said restaurant owner David Clark. Our only requirement when choosing a charitable organization is that the funds raised stay local."
