Shrimp and Grits Charleston, a chef’s competition, will be held on Saturday, August 30th at the Visitor Center Bus Shed from 7 pm until 10 pm.
Fifteen Charleston chefs will compete in the cook-off to see who makes the Holy City’s best shrimp and grits. Attendees will be able to taste the chefs’ entries and enjoy drinks, and live music.
Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the door, and $12 for children 12 and under. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Charleston Animal Society.
