Revelry Brewing has partnered with Lucky Dog Animal Rescue (LDAR) for a “name that beer” competition that launches today. The limited-edition brew will support LDAR’s new Florence rescue campus.
–
Enthusiasts will be able to submit unlimited names through August 13th and the top four names will be chosen to go head-to-head. Imbibers will be able to donate to the final four names and the one that raises the most money by midnight on August 18th will win.
– According to Revelry, the brew has:
- a hoppy smell and taste
- ABV of 5.25%
- The hops have notes of berry, citrus, stone fruit, sweet aromatic, and tropical fruits
- Low bitterness and should be a deliciously soft, juicy beer
You can learn more and submit names here. LDAR is nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing and rehoming abandoned and neglected dogs and cats. It started in the DC metro area in 2009. Lucky Dog opened the doors to their Rescue Campus in Florence in March of this year. The Florence campus will be able to cost effectively triage animals from shelters and communities that have no other support.
