The Gibbes Museum of Art will host its 9th Annual Street Party on Thursday, May 3rd from 7:30 pm until 10 pm. This year's theme is “Paint Your Palate,” which aims to intertwine Charleston's culinary culture with its artistic heritage.
The party will also celebrate the museum’s recently restored 112-year-old Beaux Arts home. Attendees can enjoy food from more than 20 local restaurants, in addition to an open bar and a Gibbes signature cocktail. Guests will also have the chance to win original works of art by some of Charleston's well-known artists.
The evening’s menus will be based on the inspiration gleaned from each chef's spring color palette of choice. Participating restaurants include The Atlantic Room, Butcher & Bee/The Daily, Café Framboise, Carmella's, Caviar & Bananas, Charleston Grill, Charleston Place Pastry, Chez Nous, Circa 1886, Edmund's Oast, FIG/The Ordinary, Grill 225, Halls Chophouse/Slightly North of Broad, Henrietta's, Husk/McCrady's/ Minero, Indaco/Oak Steakhouse/ The Macintosh, Le Farfalle, Melfi's/Little Jack's/ Leon's, Red Drum, Revival, The Grocery, The Obstinate Daughter/Wild Olive, WildFlour Pastry, and Zero George.
