On Wednesday, May 22nd, Mex 1 Coastal Cantina in West Ashley hosts Wahine Share the Stoke Night from 6 pm to 9 pm.
The event is being held ahead of the Folly Beach Wahine Classic, which will be held on June 1st and 2nd. The Classic is a weekend of fun surf competition for women of all ages and skill levels that embrace the same values of sharing waves and stoke with friends.
Mex 1’s event will serve as a fundraiser for the Folly Beach Wahine Classic. A portion of sales for the evening will go to the non-profit whose goal is to empower Wahines (or “Surfer Girls”) of all ages and raise money for water-related non-profit organizations.
There will be live music from Ben Lewis and drink specials featuring $5 Mex 1 Margaritas and $3 Mexican Drafts.
