Maui Tacos has closed its Charleston location – the only one in South Carolina – for good.
The restaurant, which opened in January 2019 at 200 Meeting Street, Suite 2, served “Maui-Mex food like fresh fish tacos, Rainbow Mango Salads, Hawaiian BBQ pork burritos.”
The Charleston restaurant was one of the first franchise locations on the U.S. Mainland (a restaurant opened in Nevada around the same time). Maui Tacos is a staple in Hawaii and is rated one of the Top Mexican Restaurants in the Country by ZAGAT.
