Malika Canteen, the first and only Pakistani restaurant in South Carolina, has debuted a brand new menu and has switched from counter service to table service.
The refreshed menu still has old favorites like Masala Fries and Chicken Tikka Masala, in addition to new dishes like Dahi Puri (small, fried puffs stuffed with potatoes, chutney, yogurt and spices), Chapli Kabab (smashed ground beef patties, garam masala, raita), Chicken Dum, Beef Dum, and Cholay Dum Biryanis, all layered with Chef Maryam's signature basmati rice and potatoes. Guests can also enjoy the new Chapli Burger, which is topped with cilantro and yogurt raita on a brioche bun.
Dishes can be washed down with one of Malika's newly-available beer, wines, or ciders, or their hot or iced chai.
