Destiny Community Café, Charleston Surfrider, Rheos, and Charleston GOOD all invite you to “Harvest Chop Party for the Hungry,” a small, fun, social distancing event aimed at feeding those in need this holiday season. The event will be held Friday, November 6th, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
The chopped vegetables and proceeds from the event will go towards the 1,000 holiday meals distributed by Destiny Community Café to the Tri-County area of the Lowcountry. All meals will be delivered in sustainable packaging thanks to Rheos' sponsorship.
This event will take place at SC Society Hall at 72 Meeting Street. Parking is available either in a parking garage or street parking.
Food and refreshments will be provided and prepared by Chef Raul Sanchez from R. Kitchen, Chef Kimberly Brock Brow, and Vegan Chef Tianna from Destiny Community Café.
This event is for those 21 years and older, and all participants must wear a mask* and bring their own apron. All kitchen supplies will be provided. To participate, click here.
