Little Miss Ha, a Vietnamese restaurant located in Mt. Pleasant, last week announced that Monday, October 30th will be their last day of business.
The eatery made the announcement on social media, saying:
“Hello Friends,
It's been a while since I've last said hello to you on social media. Usually my posts are highlighting dishes of the day, or upcoming events.
Today, however, I come to you with heavier news. Instead of saying hello, we will be saying farewell at the end of October.
Our time in Mt. Pleasant is coming to an end. I would like to personally thank you for your support of our business over the past five years. I could talk about the various reasons why we had to make this incredibly difficult decision to move on from our Mt. Pleasant location. But I would rather highlight the good times and why we began our journey.
It began with a dear friend, who had a sandwich shop and wanted to host pop-up dinners featuring my family's foods. Little did I know at the time, but our business began that day. Our journey has had several growth periods, and we are entering a new one in St. Augustine, FL. We will be moving our family and operations to FL to write the next chapter of our business.
I am filled with gratitude for all of the people that have helped me grow this business. The people who believed in me and encouraged me to say “Yes”! My business partner, John, told me a long time ago to go for it! And I'm so glad we did.
Thank you to my dear friend @abumosley. His impact extends far beyond our business, and has given other restauranteurs a platform to do the same. Thank you Michael for all that you've done for us and the industry.
To my wonderful staff. The ride or dies. I can only wish every business owner has a chance to receive the effort you have shown me. It is humbling and I can't thank you enough for putting our business first and caring for our customers the way that you do!
The biggest thanks goes to my brother, Ryan, husband Johnny, our parents and children. I am eternally grateful for your perseverance, love, and support!
Charleston, thank you for all of the love you have shown us! We look forward to sharing more meals and laughs with you these next two months! So grab your friend or family, pull up a chair, and let's cheers as many times as we can until October 30th!
Một Hai Ba, Dzo!”
You can visit the restaurant before they close at 915 Houston Northcutt Blvd.
