Louie's Kids will hold their 8th Annual “Little Chef Big Chef” event at High Cotton on Monday, September 19th at 7 pm. The fundraiser will once again feature five of Charleston’s most celebrated chefs.
The event will pair each chef with a child associated with the Louie's Kids organization. Each tandem then creates a dish together, which will be served to the attendees. The entire challenge focuses on healthy cooking while raising money for the charity. Each course will be accompanied by a wine and beer pairing.
This year's chefs are Shawn Kelly of High Cotton, Michelle Weaver of Charleston Grill, Graham Dailey from Peninsula Grill, three-time James Beard award nominee Jeremiah Bacon of The Macintosh, and Michael Toscano from Le Farfalle.
Tickets are available for $175 per person (excludes gratuity). Advance tickets can be reserved by calling High Cotton directly at (843) 724-3815. Purchasing tickets early is strongly encouraged, as space is limited.
Proceeds from the event benefit Louie's Kids, a national nonprofit treating childhood obesity through promotion of a healthier more productive lifestyle.
