This Thursday multiple Charleston restaurants will be participating in Dining Out For Life, an international event that takes place on the same day in more than 60 cities across North America. This year, over 50 Charleston restaurants are participating, making it the largest event to date.
Over the past 5 years, Dining Out For Life has raised over $60,000 in Charleston alone. The event benefits The Ryan White Wellness Center at Roper St. Francis Health-care, a program that provides free or reduced cost HIV/AIDS services to enrolled patients. On Thursday, the participating restaurants, food trucks, and bars will donate a percentage of their sales to the aforementioned charity.
