Prohibition will kick off the 2024 holiday season with themed pop-ups to celebrate the season. Beginning on Thursday, October 24th, the King Street institution will start with a celebration of the strange and unusual with the Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice pop-up, before launching the annual Sippin’ Santa holiday pop-up on Friday, November 29th.
The Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice Halloween pop-up will feature over-the-top decor and outfits fit for the undead, as well as inspired food special dishes by Chefs Greg Garrison and Analisa LaPietra and specialty cocktail specials by Jim McCourt, including a Patron cocktail served in a blood bag, a Bacardi Rum cocktail served in a black cauldron, a Kettle One punch and test tube shots of Cazadores Cafe. Costumes are highly encouraged. Specials will be served in addition to the regular food and beverage menus.
The Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice will run from Thursday, October 24th - Saturday, November 2nd. Hours of operation will be open Monday - Thursday from 4 pm - 2 am and Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 11 am - 2 am. Reservations are available.
Aleece Sophia
On Friday, November 29th, Prohibition will reopen for the Christmas season with the Sippin’ Santa Holiday Pop-up Bar. Transformed into a Christmas wonderland with floor-to-ceiling decoration, the menus will feature festive original cocktails in Sippin’ Santa’s signature Christmas mugs and glassware; Prohibition’s culinary team will serve specialty dinner, brunch and lunch menus created specially for the holiday season.
The cocktail menu will deliver some of Sippin’ Santa’s favorites from years past, including some festive twists on tiki classics, as well as some new Christmas cocktails crafted especially for the 2024 season. To enhance the holiday spirit, each cocktail will be served in a festive mug or glass, which are available for purchase. Chefs Garrison and LaPietra will once again create festive dishes that highlight the flavors and ingredients of the season. Fresh, local ingredients will be used whenever possible.
Sippin’ Santa at Prohibition will be open daily from Friday, November 29th - Wednesday, January 1st. Sippin’ Santa will be open daily from 11 am - 2 am, with holiday dishes from the culinary team available from 11 am - 10 pm. Live holiday entertainment will play Thursday - Sunday nights beginning at 9:30 pm, as well as during Saturday and Sunday brunch. To celebrate the end of the holiday season and the beginning of 2025, Prohibition will host a ticketed New Years Eve party on December 31st. Additional details are forthcoming.
