Florence’s Lowcountry Kitchen, the West Ashley restaurant that served seafood and Southern fare, today announced on social media that it has closed. The restaurant first opened in downtown Charleston in September of 2019 before moving to West Ashley in 2020.
The Queen Street Hospitality restaurant’s social media posts said:
“ It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the end of a chapter- we will be closing Florence’s Lowcountry Kitchen today.
We are working with all our employees to help them find new opportunities, either with Queen Street Hospitality or another restaurant in Charleston.
It’s been a pleasure to serve so many loyal customers and the South Windermere community over the past couple years.
We have new plans on the horizon, so stay tuned!”
The other Queen Street Hospitality restaurants are 82 Queen and Jalisco Taqueria & Tequila. Florence’s Lowcountry Kitchen was located at 90 Folly Rd Blvd. in the South Windermere Center.
