Firefly Distillery is celebrating the holiday season with a variety of events, product releases, and gifting ideas. December highlights include a specialty barrel proof bourbon release, hands-on cocktail-making classes, and a larger than ever three-day holiday market featuring local vendors and live music.

Jim’s Birthday Barrel Proof Bourbon Release
Friday, December 13, 2024 from 4 - 7 p.m.
From the makers of Firefly Distillery, Tom & Huck Distillers will release its highly anticipated LIVE Barrel Proof Single Barrel Bourbon in celebration of co-owner Jim Irvin's 78th birthday. This special annual release features a unique straight bourbon whiskey bottled at cask strength. Hand-selected to honor Irvin, this very limited release makes it a must-have for bourbon enthusiasts. Guests are encouraged to visit early, as the bottles will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last, exclusively at the distillery. Stay for karaoke night, starting at 7 p.m., free admission.
“Holiday Spirits” Cocktail Making Classes
Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Firefly will host three Holiday Spirits Cocktail Making Classes to help guests master the art of festive mixology. Class sessions will be offered at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., and 5 p.m., each featuring hands-on instruction for crafting and enjoying three holiday-inspired cocktails. Participants will also receive a welcome cocktail and expert guidance on using Firefly’s signature spirits with a holiday twist. Tickets are required and are available now on Firefly’s website.
Holy City Holiday Market
Friday, December 20 - Sunday, December 22, 2024, times vary
Firefly Distillery will partner with the Holy City Holiday Market for a vibrant three-day event, featuring local vendors, live music, food trucks, and festive activities. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, this year’s market expands to additional days, with a full schedule of events at the distillery as follows:
Friday, December 20 – Holiday Market 5 - 9 p.m.
Guests will have the opportunity to kick off the holiday market weekend by being the first to shop with local vendors, such as Palmetto Mud Pottery, Dockside Engraving and more. Live music from The Simplicity will be from 4 - 7 p.m.
Saturday, December 21 – Holiday Market and Adopt & Shop 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
On Saturday, this year’s market will include an Adopt & Shop event with local animal rescues, including Southern Tails for Precious Paws and Carolina Coonhounds. In addition, The Abbey Elmore Band will play from 1 - 4 p.m. and Super Reggae Man from 4 - 7 p.m.
Sunday, December 22 – Holiday Market & Sunday Brunch 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
The weekend-long holiday market will conclude on Sunday with a delightful brunch, featuring a variety of food trucks, including Lola's Lumpia Food Truck, and live music from Sufferin' Moses from 12 - 3 p.m.
As always, Firefly Distillery welcomes visitors throughout the month of December to explore its expansive gift shop, enjoy a lively tasting experience, or stop by for a craft cocktail.
