Grand Bohemian Hotel Charleston’s signature restaurant, Élevé, announced the launch of their new cocktail classes. Guests can improve their cocktail-making skills and discover the art of mixology at Élevé every Thursday to Saturday, from 4 pm to 5:30 pm.
Attendees can enjoy a welcome sparkling wine toast before embarking on journey through the history of cocktails in Charleston. Experience a 70–95-minute hands-on class exploring the intricacies of mixology, tastings of 4 classic cocktails, and creating your own to indulge in.
What is included:
- Welcome sparkling wine toast and cheese/crackers
- 75–90-minute experience focusing on history of the cocktail with a focus on Charleston; basic spirits education; basic bartending techniques and bar education
- Experiential/interactive components integrated throughout
- Throughout the class, the instructor makes 4 classic cocktails that demonstrate different spirits and lessons; the entire class gets tasting-sized portions of each cocktail.
- Cocktails may be tailored for individual interests
- Sample menu below: Old Fashioned, Gin Fizz, Daiquiri, Margarita
- At the end of the class, each participant has the opportunity to make their favorite cocktail of the 4 samples and enjoy it at the end
- Class price ($106.25) includes service charges, but are subject to tax. Private classes available based on availability with private booking fees.
