Chef Mike Lata today announced he will welcome a fellow James Beard Award winner into his kitchen at The Ordinary for a special holiday lunch on Sunday, December 1st. Chef Melissa M. Martin of Mosquito Supper Club in New Orleans joins Chef Lata and his team to prepare a multi-course lunch inspired by her new cookbook, Bayou: Feasting Through the Seasons of a Cajun Life.
The collaborative menu will highlight the product both chefs revere most, Southern seafood, and will incorporate techniques and flavors from both the Lowcountry and the Bayou. Guests can enjoy dishes like Pickled Shrimp, Oyster Soup, and Fried Stuffed Crabs prepared by both chefs.
Tickets are now available on Resy for $150 + tax and include the multi-course menu and a copy of Bayou: Feasting Through the Seasons of a Cajun Life.
