The Charleston County Public Library (CCPL), the Lowcountry Food Bank (LCFB), and the Charleston FRIENDS of the Library (CFOL) are working together to alleviate child hunger in Charleston by offering free after-school food at select Charleston County libraries.
Beginning Monday, Sept. 9, the free, nutritious meals or snacks will be available to kids and teens ages 5 - 18, Monday through Friday, 3-5 p.m. (*unless otherwise noted) at the following library locations:

Snacks and suppers for most branches are being provided through the LCFB’s Kids Café program, and feature nutritious options such as fruit, cheese, yogurt and muffins. Food must be consumed on-site. This is an equal opportunity program. The Baxter-Patrick James Island snack program is sponsored by the CFOL.
