Going Places will be the surprising 630 children that attend Goodwin Elementary and Minnie Hughes Elementary with a new, custom bike, lock, helmet, and bike pump on December 4th (Goodwin) and December 8th (Minnie Hughes). Going Places needs volunteers to help build all of the bikes, load them into semi trucks, and to help at the bike reveals.
This years’ bikes have an extra special meaning. Named, “The Memory” (above) in honor of Going Places' friends and supporters, David Aylor and Lauren Coleman who both passed away this year. Going Places chose the color yellow to represent sunflowers, Lauren’s favorite flower.
