Mex 1 Coastal Cantina in West Ashley will host the premiere screening of Easy Honey’s surf documentary on Sunday, September 17th, from 7 pm to 10 pm. The free event will also include a live performance by the local band.
The surf documentary chronicles Easy Honey’s tour along the East Coast this past summer. The film captures their journey, their encounters with local surf culture, and the connection between music and the ocean.
Easy Honey will perform an intimate acoustic set before the documentary screening takes place.
Before the show, Mex 1 invites the community to join them for a West Ashley Bikeway Cleanup from 5 pm to 7 pm. They will be meeting at Higgins Pier Parking lot at 1022 Main Street then hitting the walk way for a clean up of the greenway. After the cleanup, the group will head straight to Mex 1 for the main event.
