The Junior League of Charleston (JLC) will host their Centennial Celebration, a black-tie gala, on Friday, October 27th at the Charleston Gaillard Center.
Tickets, which are already on sale, will be offered in two tiers starting at $100+ and include an open bar, entertainment, silent auction and live auction hosted by Lowcountry Live's Erin Kienzle. The silent auction will be the showpiece of the evening raising funds for the Junior League of Charleston's Diaper Bank program, which distributed more than 150,000 diapers to Lowcountry families in 2022.
“Supporting this event will continue to amplify our impact and the future of our organization,” said Executive Director Amy Jenkins. “Every donation brought into the JLC, sees a direct return through our trained volunteers, direct service and financial support of community partners.”

Since its inception in 1923, The Junior League of Charleston has raised and donated millions of dollars to meet local needs ranging from child abuse to education and feeding the homeless. They've been behind some of the most notable impact projects such as the Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center and Charleston's first ever diaper bank program. They've also supported several local organizations including: East Cooper Community Outreach, Lowcountry Food Bank, Charleston Habitat for Humanity, Charleston Senior Center, Florence Crittenton, Tricounty Family Ministries, and more.
“The handprint of the JLC stretches far and wide across our area,” Jenkins said. “Our members have truly improved Charleston through their servant leadership. Please join us in celebrating our remarkable success.”
