The USS Yorktown Foundation, the official support organization for Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum, is excited to announce two upcoming fundraiser events dedicated to engaging the community while supporting a great cause.
On October 7th, the Foundation will host its inaugural Holes Fore Heroes golf tournament at the Charleston National Golf Club. Event registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. and include a light breakfast, followed by a shotgun start at 11:00 a.m. Participants will enjoy various golfing events throughout the day, including Hole-In-One and Longest Drive competitions. The event will conclude with an awards dinner at 5:00 p.m.

In addition to Holes Fore Heroes, the Foundation can be supported through donated wreaths for auction and sponsored decorated trees this holiday season. The items will be displayed aboard the USS Yorktown throughout December and serve as the main spectacle during Yuletide on the Yorktown on December 21st. During the event, guests will be immersed in merriment, with holiday lights and décor lining the Hangar Bays, festive activities, and even a visit from Santa. Local vendors will have the opportunity to sell hand-made gifts, crafts, artwork, and more, as part of our Holiday Market. Further details related to Yuletide on the Yorktown will be announced in the fall.
