Russian-born, New York-influenced jazz singer Svetlana will perform at Forte Jazz Lounge on September 23rd at 7 pm and again at 9 pm.
Svetlana is a vocalist, composer, band leader, educator, and a Manhattan School of Music MA and Columbia PhD graduate. She was a Finalist of the Paul Carr’s 2019 Discovery Act Competition, finalist of the American Music Abroad program, and an alternate of the 2019 and 2020 American traditions vocal competitions. Svetlana’s latest record, Night at the Movies, debuted No. 1 on US Billboard Traditional Jazz Album Charts in 2019.
