Palmetto Carriage Works today announced that they will be running a Labor Day weekend offer to patrons who purchase four or more tickets to a public haunted history or a private horse and carriage tour. For three nights (8/30, 8/31, 9/1) those who purchase one of these tours will receive one free overnight downtown parking spot next to the Palmetto Carriage Big Red Barn.
The group invites all in the Charleston area to take a haunted history tour, which takes place each half hour beginning at 5:30 pm with the last tour leaving at 8:00 pm. Tours are 45 minutes in length and are as family-friendly as they are reflective of the ominous stories of Charleston’s past. Ticket prices are $50 per adult and $40 per child.
Those interested in taking advantage of the free parking promo should first register for a tour and then fill out the parking voucher form linked here. Parking spaces are limited and reservations will be accepted on a first come basis. You are asked to pick up your parking vouchers no earlier than 5:30 pm on the date of your tour reservation from the Big Red Barn. Staff will be there to direct you to your parking spot. Cars must be moved by 7:30 am the following morning.
