New Muse Concerts recently announced some new events taking place this month at the Gibbes Museum of Art. On Saturday, July 10th at 5 pm and Sunday, July 11th at 3 pm, 2021 Lydia Chernicoff (violin) and Ronaldo Rolim (piano) will perform concerts at the the museum (135 Meeting Street). The program is inspired by the two current exhibitions of Japanese woodblock prints and the art they influenced. Tickets are $30 for museum members and $40 for non-members, and admission to the galleries is included in the price. “The Gibbes Museum of Art is thrilled to partner with New Muse Concerts this July for the start of what we hope will be an ongoing collaborative relationship,” said Becca Hiester, Director of Education and Programs at the Gibbes. “Thoughtfully curated musical performances, like Nexus: Music at the Crossroads of East and West, is a perfect example of how performing arts and fine arts can intersect and engage with audiences in new and unexpected ways.”
