MUSC Health Stadium will host a viewing party for “The Great American Eclipse” on Monday, August 21st. The total solar eclipse will be the first to cross the U.S. since 1979 and the first coast-to-coast eclipse since 1918.
The family-friendly event will include astronomy-related activities, a science-based kids zone, local food, drinks, entertainment, and more. Further details and a full event schedule will be released closer to the event date.
Gates will open at 11 am, while the eclipse will be visible in Charleston during the two o'clock hour.
Tickets are $8, but admission is free for military personnel and kids 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased here.
