Mount Pleasant Towne Centre today announced Play Dayz, a program series inviting kids ages 10 and under to a morning of activities at The Oaks, will kick off on May 3rd. Play Dayz will run from 10 am to noon and feature various arts and crafts stations, music classes, special treats, games, and more. The kids club will continue on the first Tuesday of every month with varying themed activities. The morning is free to all families, and parents can register their children upon arrival.
“We're thrilled to add another monthly series to our exciting event lineup this spring,” said Kathleen Herrmann, Marketing Director at Mount Pleasant Towne Centre. “As a family-friendly community, we are always looking for more ways to engage our Lowcountry families and Play Dayz will offer fun and educational activities for parents and their children all morning long.”
Each month's program will feature a new theme, ranging from crafts to music to nature. May's theme is “Moms & Music.” Bach to Rock, a music school for students of all ages, will be onsite hosting music classes. Additionally, all registered kids who join the fun will receive a special treat during their birthday month from Sweet Julep's, a Towne Centre candy, and gift store.
