Meyer Vogl Gallery announced the next “Culture Cake,” a series of arts and cultural programming at their Daniel Island location. The event will take place on Thursday, September 15th, from 6 pm to 9 pm at 250 River Landing Drive. The event is free, but you are asked to RSVP by e-mailing info@meyervogl.com.
This edition of “Culture Cake” celebrates black makers and Ankara fashions in Charleston and will be the first of many similar events to come. After a panel discussion from the makers and a salon-style fashion show, guests are invited to shop looks directly from the makers themselves.
Makers and partners who will be joining the event include:
- Zuriel Kingdom Collections
- Quilted Artistry
- Gullah Sweetgrass
- Motherland Essentials
- Gola Sweetgrass
- Charcuterie Happy Board
- Cocktail Bandits
- Sarilla Sparkling Teas
- Black Charleston Professionals
- Explore Charleston
- Andrea Serrano
The “Culture Cake” series is aimed at connecting the gallery’s audience with local culture and inspiring discussions on a variety of topics, including art, music, history, fashion, food, and wine.
