Author Julie Packett, a Summerville native, has released here latest "STEAM-fueled" children's book, Cosmic Getaway. It's the latest addition to her series, The Chronicles of Ms. Clarke's Class.
Packett invites you to enter Cosmic Getaway, an out-of-this-world adventure that follows Ms. Clarke's fifth-grade students on an interstellar journey. With the solar eclipse on the horizon, the intrepid crew transforms their classroom into a celestial sanctuary, brimming with paper-mâché planets, blackout curtains and more.
Cosmic Getaway follows the first two books in the series, Science Night and Battling Bots, all available on Amazon in both paperback and hardback editions.
Packett will also be selling paperback editions of all her books at the Flowertown Festival in Summerville, taking place from April 5th to 7th.
