Join us as we celebrate the last days of summer with art, live music, local goods, light bites, and drinks at a colorful pop-up party on King Street.
We're not done with celebrating the gorgeous weather and bright outlook of the summer, are you? In a city that's famous for its art and colorful streets, we want to send off the season with a bang. Join us as we feature local artists, vendors, and live music in this one-day only pop-up at Hed Hi Studio on King.
Known for their ability to bring a sense of playfulness into the everyday, the artists featured in this show will leave you in the best mood as you discover their unique talents. From the gummy bear wall sculptures of local artist Olivia Bonilla to the dreamy abstracts of Jenan McClain and Chelsea Hart, you'll find splendor infused into every work. You can also expect to see works by artists Lizzie Horne, Maggie Roof, Joan Aglaia, Olivia D'Orazi, and more.
In addition to artwork, you're invited to browse local goods from vendors such as Woven Script and Penelope Design Studio. Woven Script is a Charleston-based textile design and fiber arts studio, helmed by Kaitlin Unsworth. Their booth will feature macrame art made using eco-friendly materials sourced from other independent artists. Founded by Sarah Kay, Penelope Design Studio is a local brand of leather and copper jewelry in every shade of the rainbow. Whether for yourself or as a gift, their earrings are perfect for adventures in our colorful city.
Guests will also be treated to a special live performance by local musician Trace Jory, whose music is inspired by bands such as Mumford & Sons, Kings of Leon, and The Lumineers.
This event is free and open to the public with no RSVP required.
