Katie’s Krops is bringing family-friendly, fun, and interactive, educational activities to their flagship garden on Saturday, April 27th with their Second Annual Springfest. This free event will allow attendees to connect with the community and learn more about Katie’s Krops and their partner organizations while enjoying music, a food truck, and participating in fun, hands-on activities.
Springfest will be held at Katie’s Krops Flagship Garden, on the campus of Crossroads Community Church, located at 505 Gahagan Rd. in Summerville on Saturday, April 27th. The event begins at 9:30 am and will run until 12:30 pm. There will be no cost to attend, and tickets are not required. Food will be available to purchase from JMAC’s Cheesesteaks, Burgers & More and there will be opportunities to make donations to support Katie’s Krops.
Katie’s Krops youth volunteers will provide guided tours of the garden and share the work they do at as young as five-years-old. There will also be a special unveiling of a large addition to their butterfly house, which is an effort to save the endangered Monarch Butterflies.
The event will also include:

“Last year we welcomed over 300 attendees to our flagship garden for Springfest, and it was truly magical," Katie’s Krops Founder, Katie Stagliano said. "I am so excited for attendees to see just how much our garden has grown since last Springfest and for a morning of community building and activities with our wonderful partners, there truly is something for everyone to enjoy. I am incredibly grateful to Crossroads Community Church for welcoming us onto their campus with open arms, their partnership allows us to continue serving our community and makes events like Springfest possible!”
