Hootie & the Blowfish’s 10th Annual HomeGrown Concert is almost here! The event will take place on August 17th and 18th at the Family Circle Stadium. As usual, concert-goers are encouraged to bring school supplies to be donated to the Charleston County School District.
As for the entertainment, Hootie will be playing a full set each night with multiple acts providing support throughout the two days.
Nashville’s Justin Moore will be the opening act on Friday night. Saturday night’s opener will be Collective Soul, who like the headliner, had lots of success in the 90s. Both concerts will begin at 7 pm.
There will also be a day session on Saturday at the Family Circle Tennis Center Grand Lawn. The acts performing all have local tie-ins. Early Ray (Rock Hill), Southwood (Charleston) and The Blue Dogs (Charleston) will all play during the early concert. The afternoon show starts at 1 pm.
