On Friday, December 6th, the Holy City Arts & Lyric Opera (HALO) will present Carols by Candlelight at St. Johannes Lutheran Church. Home to their concert series, HALO says "the 1842 architectural gem is the perfect setting for an intimate evening of beloved sacred and secular songs."
The 75-minute program includes holiday staples "O Holy Night," "Carol of the Bells," "The Christmas Song," and "Ave Maria," and features the talented voices of Leah Edwards, Lauryn Kay, Dimitri Pittas, and Kenneth Stavert. The family-friendly event will also include special guest and former Charleston mayor, John Tecklenburg on piano.
Carols by Candlelight is a one-time only event on Friday, December 6th at 6 pm. Doors open at 5:30 pm. Beverages are available for purchase on the portico before the performance. The VIP Experience includes post-performance cocktails and conversation with the artists and special guests.
