The Quaponda Tribe today announced the launch of the Gullaxy World Market, in partnership with Growing Spirit Nature School. Set in the Charleston Woodlands, this unique event will take place every Saturday from 2 pm to 6 pm, beginning November 30th.
Here's how they describe the event series:
"Attendees will embark on an extraordinary journey to the Indigenous Mothership, where they will have the opportunity to meet tour guides and club leaders from the realms of art, music, and film. Not just a marketplace, the Gullaxy World Market invites visitors to build and innovate for FortDay™ while exploring a tribally curated nature park. This park is rich with living history narratives and features select premier vendors.
Children will delight in collecting archival artifacts, fossils, and handcrafted merchandise from local artisans. Each visit promises excitement with monthly challenges and competitions, culminating in a special live event on the last Saturday of each month. This event will showcase the incredible productions of families and sponsors, all working together to fuel the Mothership for future generations."
The Charleston Woodlands is located at 4279 Ashley River Rd. in West Ashley.
