Psychedelic rockers The Flaming Lips today announced they will be performing at Firefly Distillery in North Charleston on Monday, October 17th at 7 pm. Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, April 15th at 10 am.
The band has won three Grammy Awards, including two for Best Rock Instrumental Performance, and their 1999 release The Soft Bulletin was NME magazine’s Album of the Year. They were also placed on Q magazine‘ s 2002 list of the “50 Bands to See Before You Die.”
This is an outdoor general admission venue and the show will take place rain or shine. Guests are welcome to bring their own chairs and blankets, but no tents, coolers, or outside food or drink. Children under the age of two are free.
