Firefly Distillery has announced two November events to kick off the holiday season – the Bend & Steal Master Craftsman Market and cocktail competition on Saturday, November 23rd, followed by the distillery's second annual Blackberry Friday event on Friday, November 29th. Returning for fall, the Bend & Steal event celebrates artisans and their craft, while the following weekend embraces Black Friday, paying homage to Steel Feathers' wildly popular blackberry-flavored whiskey and innovative cocktails.
"We’re thrilled to open our doors to some of the Lowcountry’s best makers and small businesses," said Scott Newitt, Co-Owner of Firefly Distillery. "Their craftsmanship reflects the same passion and dedication we pour into our own spirits, enriching not just our events, but the entire community. It’s inspiring to see our grounds come alive with the energy and creativity of makers who share our commitment to mastering a craft."

Saturday, November 23, from 1 to 5 p.m.
A fall favorite returns, transforming Firefly Distillery into a curated marketplace of local artists and creators, alongside an exciting cocktail competition featuring cocktails crafted by some of Charleston's top bartenders using Bend & Steal American Whiskey. The cocktail competition will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. where guests can sample creative cocktails crafted by four local bartenders for a nominal admission fee. This optional fee grants access to all cocktail samples, allowing guests to vote for their favorite drink. Fare from Fiddlers’ Fire food truck will be available for guests to savor, along with live music from Sufferin’ Moses.
Blackberry Friday
Friday, November 29, from 12 to 5:30 p.m.
Firefly Distillery will kick off the holiday season with its ‘Blackberry Friday’ event, celebrating fan-favorite, Steel Feathers Blackberry Whiskey. Guests may enjoy 50 percent off all tastings and indulge in specialty cocktails featuring this smooth-flavored whiskey. Pizza da Michelino food truck will be available for attendees to enjoy, along with live music by local artist Hotel Hugo from 2 to 5 p.m. The Distillery will open early at 12 p.m. for this festive occasion.
Both seasonal events will be free to attend, offering the community an opportunity to come together and uplift one another this holiday season while enjoying exceptional whiskeys from Tom & Huck Distillers—a collection of distilled and aged spirits crafted by the makers of Firefly. Plus, the Firefly gift shop will offer a selection of spirits and unique gifts, perfect for early holiday shopping.
