National Drive Electric Week will run from Saturday, September 12th with events being held all across the country. For the first year ever, Charleston will be hosting its own event at 1600 Meeting Street on Saturday, September 12th.
The celebration is called “It’s Electric!” and is organized by Lowcountry Electric Vehicles and GreenBy3. The main attraction of the event will be the “EV tailgate,” where local EV owners and dealerships will show-off their cars and offer test drives. Attendees will get the chance to test drive different models from manufacturers like Nissan, Tesla, BMW, Chevy, and Ford.
The event will also include vendor booths and food trucks.
