The Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission is once again throwing the Harvest Festival at the Mullet Hall Equestrian Center! The 13th annual event will be held on Saturday, November 1st from 11 am until 5 pm.
The festival includes live bluegrass music from five local bands, a barbeque cook-off, a crafters’ market, an onsite farmers’ market, trail rides, and more.
Attendees can sample 1-ounce portions of barbeque for $1 each and then vote on their favorite. There will also be plenty of other foods for sale like boiled peanuts, kettle korn, and other traditional festival fare.
The Harvest Festival is family-friendly and includes children’s activities like hay rides, a stick pony corral, pumpkin decorating, penny diving, lasso demonstrations, and crafts.
