The latest Charleston Record Expo on Saturday, September 21st at the West Ashley Shoppes at 946 Orleans Rd.The event will run from 10 am until 5 pm. West Ashley’s premier vinyl shop, Monster Music & Movies, will join in the fun with their own event on the same day.
During the Expo, record dealers from throughout the area will be selling albums, 7” singles, and other music paraphernalia. Prices start as low as $1.
Monster’s event starts at 11 am and continues through the early afternoon. Allison Merrick from SpaceCraft Studios will be teaching a class about turning records into bowls. Records will be supplied, but you can certainly bring your own. The demonstration is free, but suggested donations will be collected and given to Girls Rock Charleston.
Papa Robbie's Reggae All Stars will perform at the store starting at 2 pm. They will accept donations to benefit the Montego Bay Animal Haven.
Plus, Refueler's Mobile Café will be on site serving food.
