Buzz! Buzz! Buzz! Charleston Honey & Bee Expo is Sunday

The 6th Annual Charleston Honey & Bee Expo will be held this Sunday at Cinebarre in Mount Pleasant from 11 am until 4 pm. This free, family-friendly event should be a fun way to close out the Cooper River Bridge Run weekend.

The expo will include:

Local honey for purchase
Free honey tastings
Honey Cotton Candy
The chance to learn more about bees and what you can do to help save them
Local beekeepers
An observation hive with live bees
“Ask a Master Gardener” booth
- Meet experts
Free displays
Food Trucks providing menu items utilizing local honey
Mead-making: sample wine made from local honey
