On one fall Saturday, Cypress Gardens will be transformed into the ukulele capital of the world. Sure, it’s basically just a tiny guitar, but it will be the focal point of a big celebration at the Moncks Corner park.
The 2014 Blackwater Ukulele Festival will take place there on September 13th from 9 am until 5 pm. The event will include live performances, workshops, access to park attractions, vendors, and more.
This year’s schedule includes:
- 9:00 am – Park Gates Open
- 10:30 am – Ukulele Workshop
- 11:00 am – Hula Exhibition
- 11:30 am – Charleston Hot Shots
- 12:30 pm – Sarrah Summer
- 1:00 pm – Nathan Miller
