This year's Buy Local Month will run from November 15th through December 15th and will once again be hosted by Lowcountry Local First. The group will be putting on multiple events that promote local businesses and products. In addition, the organization will throw the first-ever community-supported “ Buy Local Block Party & Maker Tours” on Saturday, November 22nd at Local Works .
The goal of Buy Local Month is to “educate the public and shift consumer spending, keeping holiday dollars flowing within our local economy.”
